To provide a personalized study experience, we collect the following categories of information:

• Study goals and learning preferences
• Notes you create or upload
• Flashcards, quizzes, and exams you generate or complete
• Study plans and scheduled sessions
• AI Teacher conversations
• AI Chat conversations
• Homework scanner uploads (images and extracted text)
• Progress statistics and learning analytics
• Achievement data, XP, and streak history
• Friend connections and social interactions inside the app
• Parent dashboard data (when parental linking is enabled)
• Feedback submissions and bug reports you send us

• To provide and operate the core app functionality
• To save your study progress across sessions and devices
• To generate personalized AI content, quizzes, and feedback
• To improve the overall user experience and product quality
• To track and visualize learning progress over time
• To maintain account security and prevent abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use student content to train third-party AI models.

Your data is stored securely on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encryption at rest. Access is restricted to authorized systems and to the account owner. Backend services authenticate every request and enforce row-level access controls so that one user can never read another user's notes, conversations, or study data.

You are always in control of the data you create in Clutch AI. You may at any time:

• View the data associated with your account from the Settings and Profile pages
• Edit, correct, or update your profile and study content
• Export your study data (notes, flashcards, quizzes, plans) on request
• Delete your account, which permanently removes your personal data from our systems

Clutch AI is designed for students aged 10–18. We take the privacy of younger users seriously and provide optional parental involvement features (the Parent Dashboard and parental linking) that allow a parent or guardian to view their child's study progress with their consent. We do not knowingly collect more information from a child than is necessary to provide the study features they use. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without appropriate consent, please contact us so we can remove it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed credentials, server-side authentication, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to harden the platform and respond quickly to any vulnerability reports.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you inside the app.
